Kelli's Story
Life
Have had a crazy life. Moved to Ohio at age 19 and moved back to AZ at age 22. Thought I met Mr. Right and had my son at age 25. Ended up raising my son as a single parent. Went back to school and graduated with high honors from ASU in '95. Moved to MA 12 years ago and love it here. Miss my family in AZ and the winter though! Don't like shoveling snow but I try to remember the beach is only an hour away and summer will be here soon. My son is now 26 yrs old. My first and only grandson was born last December and he's a cutie like his father. I've been unable to work for several years now due to a severe spinal cord disability and benign spinal/brain stem tumor but enjoy painting and the arts. I also have my two cats (Bookie and Horus) and a group of very good friends who are my heroes and greatest supports.
Never married, came close 4 times (no, I don't hate men), just never found a GOOD one! Please, what happened to responsible, respectful, and caring men! Yes, I know they're all married, just not to me! Still working on this one. Thought I had Mr. Right a couple years ago and again recently but circumstances changed that. ly allow people with a wicked good sense of humor, mature, respectful and loving into my life. I don't think that's too much to ask for considering I offer the same in return.
I've had many interesting jobs. Never made a great career out of any of them but had a lot of fun. Funnest job was at ASU in Psychology Dept as a Supervisor doing research. (Alex, Deb, Jeanne, and Phil, your great!!!). Weirdest was working as a shopping investigator to catch crooked employees. Best part time job was being a psychic reading Tarot cards. Most stressful was being a case manager for elders in their homes. Most depressing job was being an intake therapist for mental health. Best pay for the stress, being a financial services adviser. Worse job, working 5 years for America West Airlines whose goal is to suck the life out of all their employees, I think that says it all.
The answer is NO, I stopped doing drugs when I left high school so I'm no longer "burn out". Got my life together a year before my son was born. Learned quickly that life constantly changes and the quicker you can accept and embrace the change the better your life becomes.
Would love to hear from old classmates, okay... not so "old" classmates.
